Most of the scientific events will take place in the Corum convention center, which is entirely booked for our conference. Session rooms and posters will be distributed from level 0 to level 3. Part of the symposia will take place in the “Salle Rabelais”, which is a former movie theater located on the Esplanade, a few minutes walk from the Corum. Reaching this room will take a bit longer than moving between rooms in the Corum.
Le Corum conference center and Berlioz Opera House constitute a prestigious complex at the heart of the city, with 3 fully-equipped auditoria (Berlioz 2,000 seats, Pasteur 745 seats and Einstein 318 seats), 6,000m2 of naturally lit exhibition space and 24 seminar rooms for 50 to 200 people. It is very conveniently located in the heart of the pedestrianized area, a 10 minutes walk from the train station. Three different tram lines stop at the CORUM station. There are a wide range of hotels within walking distance, as well as many shops, cafes, restaurants and bars.
The environment in the immediate vicinity of le Corum is also very nice and relaxing, with a beautiful alley of sycamore trees on the Esplanade, a small public park, a large terrace on the roof of the convention center with a great view on the city, and, very nearby, the famous Place de la Comédie with its cafes and Opera.
